2017 a new year, new start

have had problems updating the blog at the end of last year, so I'm starting from here and hope that it will work!  we have an Instagram page and also Facebook (Mount Ephraim House) which is the easiest to update at the moment!

so Christmas is over, here's a lovely photo of the Christmas day staff at MEH. I might add in some other photos as and when I can but for now we will start on the New Year and see what that brings.

The 'evergreen choir'

So,at last after six months of hard work the evergreen choir at meh ( Di Sheila sarah Karen ( for the staff) and Eileen Marie patty  Peggy Phyl pam Andrew and Kaye and Doreen  (for the residents) finally performed in front of an audience on Thursday. Sadly Arthur had a hospital appointment so we wasn't there.

The meh 'Evergreen' choir were joined by the 'crowborough singing for fun' choir & conducted by Mark Beesley.

This project was run by NAPA and funded by comic relief - the aim being to encourage care staff and residents to enjoy singing together and forging links with the local community. It was a very successful performance and a video will be posted on 'you tube' soon!
