Easter art and craft today

Such a beautiful warm and sunny day today and some people took the opportunity to sit outside on the patio - to read, relax, have a manicure or just sit and chat over tea.... The games room was buzzing with activity - patty was painting chicks, Marie made Easter cards, jean took to painting eggs and was joined by her son, alistair... Iris did some watercolour painting. Jenny our volunteer brought homemade cake and roy made the tea!
Many of the other residents were enjoying Heather's class - Music for Health - and a few lucky ladies had visits from their families....great start to spring!

LOCAL CARE HOME SCORES HIGHLY IN NATIONAL SURVEY OF RESIDENTS

MOUNT EPHRAIM HOUSE, has just taken part in the country’s largest and most authoritative survey of care home residents. The results from the survey have been made public today, performing strongly.

The nationwide survey, called Your Care Rating, is designed to give residents a voice, putting

their care at the heart of understanding more about how well care homes perform

KAREN COOPER at MOUNT EPHRAIM HOUSE said: “We’re delighted with our results from the 2013 Your Care Rating survey as it demonstrates how fulfilled our residents are.

The survey was compiled by leading research company Ipsos MORI with input from the care home operators taking part, plus the National Care Forum (NCF) and the English Community Care Association (ECCA).
