http://magis.to/fXk5DV8HGEQ5LCIEDmEwCXt4?l=vsm&o=i&c=w
Magisto made this little film clip of the photos I took today, mainly of the veg garden ( which is in preparation for the NAPA challenge 'fine dining experience' on 14th July....
A good variety session with sue today - she thinks the warm weather is having s very positive effect on everyone... Elizabeth and Joan started reading alan titchmarsh memoirs to the Monday group today; a trip we made on their behalf to the library and shops made a few residents very happy ... The guinea pigs enjoyed s run, jigsaws have been completed, and more art hit the walls!! Oh, and Audrey created a couple of flower arrangements for her room.

Friday 26th June
Sun shining but a bit breezy so not so many residents choosing to sit outdoors today...Derek came to play some tunes, followed by a bit of Andre Rieu then 'pointless' .... While down the hall we had Christiane back for bingo and then instead of the quiz, she introduced the crossword book- Marie & co helped fill one in which Christiane will send off to try and win the £1000 prize!! Bridget loves the fresh air and she could be found making art with mihaela, out on the patio, which was later added to the ever growing art gallery wall!

More highlights from today....
A visit from Gloria's son and his lovely dog Finn....roses out in the garden, pretty purple flowers ( residents asked me to identify) and a vintage tea party this afternoon with 'show and tell' where residents bring something dear to them to show the others and share their story. We had some really interesting things today, some funny anecdotes and kitkats!!
Second week in June already...
Making the most of the start of summer...with
Peggy! Dawn, chick, Joan s, Eileen
Colouring, creating, doing jigsaws or just having a cup of tea ...
Patty preferred to do her art indoors and the others were happy in the lounge with plenty to keep everyone amused!
Snapshot of today - June 5th 2015
The day started with knit and natter and ended on a sing song with Doug Wake at his keyboard- stirring some lovely memories...
Planting up....
Arthur helped Roy plant up some more dahlias on Tuesday ....all we need to remember now is to water them!
Guest for the morning....!
Jude came to visit today and joined in with 'sonas' and keep fit. Then we formed an impromptu backing band for Daniel O'Donnell in the lounge with brigitt, pat and the two Anne's! Luckily jude's mum came to collect him just in time for lunch!

Farewell to MAY ...
A month of sunshine and showers, tears and laughter....celebration and commiseration
We celebrated Anne s, Peggy, Arthur and phyl's birthdays respectively but sadly lost dear Robert who had not been at meh for very long...
We welcomed new staff and residents (Jill, gwen, Jim ) and Karen took a holiday and celebrated her birthday too.
We started the month with a bank holiday, VE Day and a visit to Tudeley church and ended with a bank holiday and a trip on the kingfisher.., in between we introduced film nights, Oomph and mail art, were inspired by Chelsea and enjoyed many sunny days in the beautiful gardens.

Thursday 21st may
Started off so beautiful - we opened the doors to the garden, put out all the patio cushions and placed the guinea pigs in their 'run' on the grass... But there was a bit of a chill in the air ( not enough to deter chick from enjoying the fresh air!) but no one else ventured out!
Peggy was happy colouring and Anne came along later, showing new carer sharon how it's done!
Charity came in to open the salon and was met by quite a queue - but it's time for a catch up and no-one minds waiting their turn....in the lounge we stared a fun coffee morning tasting session- Karen bought sachets of different types and flavours of coffee and Marie, Eileen and Eileen, Anne, Doreen, pam, phyl and Arthur were up for the challenge! Everyone had a favourite and it was fun to try something new- we even had a free raffle, won by Anne ...
