Lovely day celebrating Joan's birthday today - her family came along in the afternoon and Derek the pianist was on form to turn afternoon tea into a party!!

A talk by Dennis Penfold

A bit of social history brought to MEH by mr Penfold today in the form of an illustrated talk about the Rusthall VAD Hospital.  

Guest of honour was patty as she remembers it well and used to be taken along in her pushchair by her mother who worked there!  Bearing in mind patty is now in her 101st year it is amazing what memories she has of that time ....

Collage fun

With jenny today back after the  Xmas break ... We decided to start a collage to decorate the hallway ....jenny supplied the homemade cake and we had a jolly time.  When it's finished we will of course display our masterpiece!
