a walk up Kilimanjiro with Shelagh!

we had an interesting talk this morning by Shelagh who came to mount ephraim house. she shared her story of a sponsored climb to the summit of kilimanjiro, raising over £4,000 for marie curie cancer research charity.

shelagh brought her walking boots, poles and hat which she said were the essential items which helped her reach her goal and so we asked her to pose for our album in full regalia!

she will be a regular visitor we hope as she has many more adventures to tell us about...

afternoon tea

tuesday afternoon we combined a trip to camden road with tea and buying the forthcoming charity golf day prizes . hester, marie, helen, lucille and jean agreed to come out for the afternoon and at 'le rendevous' enjoyed warm pastries and lots of tea, reading the papers and watching the world go by. marie took a trip to the sewing centre and hester visited the blue moon gallery and spent a very happy hour there discussing art with the delightful assistant.
