Happy returns ...

I have been on annual leave for past two weeks, back today... to be greeted by the sight of these lovely sunflowers.  against the odds they have grown tall and beautiful and really made my day.  Noticed the residents have been busy decorating the art studio with their painted shells!

While I was away the art studio celebrated it's birthday- in memory of the very dear and talented Ursula White.

Lovely day

Hairdressing, art and craft with katerina , quiz hosted by Eileen, NCT group meeting in the garden with the gorgeous baby boys (who are all walking now!) walking in the garden, trip to the pub, lots of visitors ... Perfect weather for sitting outside ...

Cheers !

When Anne and Jean asked if I could take them for a walk today I thought we would do something different... So we went across to the mount edgecumbe pub on the common.  Only problem was I forgot to take my purse !  Despite my plea to the barman that we could be trusted to bring some money over later, he declined...but
going through my pockets I found a £1 coin.  Who knew you could buy a round of drinks for that!! We each enjoyed a glass of soda and lime, with ice, and walked back to meh later none the worse for wear!!
